Breaking News: At least 8 pedestrians struck by van in Toronto

Witnesses says - the driver mounted the curb hitting pedestrians walking along the sidewalk - before driving off. It happened in the north of the city's business district - just before 2 pm local time. The driver has now been taken into custody.
