"Emotional" author Atwood honoured at Windsor Castle

The 79-year-old Canadian author, who has written over 40 works of fiction including the famous book "The Handmaiden's Tale", received the Order of the Companions Award which is held by only 65 people at one time.

Atwood and Evaristo joint winners of Booker Prize

Canadian writer Margaret Atwood and British author Bernardine Evaristo have split the Booker Prize, after the judging panel ripped up the rulebook and refused to name a single winner for the prestigious fiction trophy.
