Destroying crops, killing livestock, Eastern Africa’s worst drought season in decades has led to famine and the mass displacement of people across Somalia.
The UN said that 4.6 million people will be in need of food aid by May 2022, calling for nearly $1.5 billion in funding to help tackle the crisis.
UN agency says some 6.2 million Somalis are in need of humanitarian assistance.
