Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed and dismembered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018, in a case that tarnished the reputation of de facto ruler Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Prayer were held for slain journalist in Istanbul, a day after a Saudi prosecutor admitted the writer's body was dismembered by Saudi agents in the kingdom's Istanbul consulate. Similar prayers were held in the cities of Mecca and Medina.
Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's body may be "dissolved completely" and the Turkish officials are calling for an Islamic prayer for the murdered, news website Middle East Eye reports.
