Court documents say a member of Donald Trump's presidential transition team, identified by sources as Jared Kushner, told Michael Flynn to contact officials from Russia to veto or delay a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlements in Palestine.

Kushner made a pre-inauguration proposal to the Russian ambassador to set up a "secret" communications line with the Kremlin, the Washington Post has reported.
Kushner is the only current White House official known to be considered a key person in the probe. He is being investigated because of his meetings and other possible interactions with the Russian ambassador and a banker from Moscow.
The former national security adviser will invoke his constitutional rights against self incrimination when he refuses to hand over vital documentation to a Senate Intelligence Committee investigating alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
