Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discusses Sweden and Finland's bid for NATO membership with Swedish prime minister and NATO chief.
At a joint news conference with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg, Swedish PM Magdalena Andersson said both Sweden and Finland would be security providers for the region and for all of NATO, including Türkiye.
"No NATO ally has suffered more terrorist attacks than Türkiye", acknowledged NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg, adding that talks with Türkiye would continue.
Jens Stoltenberg says that they are addressing concerns that Türkiye has expressed, while Finland says they are committed to ensuring Türkiye's security if its bid to join the transatlantic alliance is successful.
