Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin the international community needs to “teach a deterrent lesson” to Israel.
No casualties were reported in the latest assault on the enclave.
Two Palestinians were shot dead during clashes along the frontier during the Great March of Return protests while two others were killed in an air strike, the health ministry in Gaza said.
