The strikes came a day after two drones, which the Lebanese army and the Iran-backed Hezbollah group said were Israeli, crashed in the Hezbollah-dominated southern suburbs of Beirut, with one exploding.
"Our air defence systems intercepted luminous objects coming from the occupied territories (Israel) and downed several of them," SANA news agency says quoting a regime military source.

Palestinian health officials said that two of the victims were a pregnant woman and her 18-month old child.
