More than 350 Indonesian doctors have contracted Covid-19, with at least five dead, despite being vaccinated with Sinovac, while dozens are hospitalised as concerns rise about the efficacy of some vaccines against more virulent virus strains.
State-owned pharmaceutical company Kimia Farma is accused of washing and reselling used Covid nasal swabs in test kits in Medan, with an estimated 9,000 people who were possibly tested using recycled swabs.
