UN special Yemeni envoy said warring sides failed to agree on an extension to a ceasefire in the Middle Eastern country.
Extension of truce and agreement between warring parties will help to improve the daily lives of Yemenis facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, said the envoy.
At the end of his three-day visit to the war-torn country, the UN envoy Hans Grundberg said there was "a significant overall reduction in hostilities" despite some reported violations.
Hundreds of civilians were killed and thousands displaced in Yemen over the past month, and conflict continues to escalate, while aid is coming short.
