The armed group Taliban declared a three-day ceasefire in Afghanistan to mark this week's Eid al-Fitr holiday, just two days after the government blamed the insurgents for bombs outside a school that killed more than 50 people, mostly young girls.
The explosion comes a day after two people were killed and dozens more wounded in Kabul as a wave of bombings hit civilian targets, including a university school bus, across Afghanistan's capital.
The multiple attacks involving suicide car bombings and gun attacks took place in south-western city of Quetta, north-western Parachinar town and southern Karachi city as Pakistanis prepare for Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
