Sophisticated weekend attack involving drones, explosives, car bombs and artillery leaves 42 soldiers dead and 22 others wounded, say officials of the troubled African country.

An army base in southern Somalia was struck by car bombs and gunfire in an attack claimed by the Al Shabab militant group.
The bombings were followed by a gunfight at police headquarters in southern Kandahar province.
Iraq celebrated the one-year anniversary of the official defeat of Daesh. The anniversary also saw the partial re-opening of the 'Green Zone' in Baghdad to civilians 15 years after it was set up in the wake of the US-led invasion and occupation.
Police officials say over 100 people were also wounded when suicide attackers set off car bombs at Sahafi Hotel near a police headquarter in capital Mogadishu. Militant group Al Shabab claims responsibility for the attack.
About 20 members of the security forces were also injured in the attacks claimed by Daesh, security and medical sources say.
At least 20 people were killed and several others wounded in the first explosion in K5 Junction area in Mogadishu. The second blast in the city's Madina district killed two more.
The assailants struck in the centre of the Iraqi capital during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, when many people stay up past midnight and eat out to prepare for the next day's fast.
Three policemen were among those killed in twin car bombs targeting a checkpoint in southern Baghdad. The attack also injured 21 others.
The latest attacks come as Iraqi security forces gain a foothold in western Mosul as part of a wide-ranging operation to drive out Daesh from their last bastion of power in the country.
