Tehran's decision to move the facility comes as diplomatic efforts to restore Iran’s tattered nuclear deal appear stalled.
The episode came a day after the country said it had started up advanced uranium enrichment centrifuges at the site, in a breach of its commitments under a 2015 nuclear deal.

The United States ratcheted up pressure on Iran, announcing the deployment of 1,000 additional troops to the Middle East, as Tehran set a 10-day countdown for world powers to fulfil their commitments for a nuclear deal abandoned by Washington.
A spokesman for Iran's atomic agency said Tehran would increase uranium enrichment levels "based on the country's needs".
