Nearly four decades after disbanding and vowing never to get back together, Swedish superstars ABBA announced a musical comeback with a new album and a London show.
The Australian pop singer, who has sold 80 million albums worldwide, co-wrote all the tracks on Disco, which was mostly recorded during coronavirus lockdown in a studio she had to set up in her home.
The musician said the initiative came about as he felt democratic institutions were being undermined by the spread of misinformation.
ABBA members come together 35 years after their last single by saying, "It was like time had stood still and that we only had been away on a short holiday. An extremely joyful experience!"
