Many children in the streets of Cairo work instead of going to school. Some work as tuk tuk drivers. Shehab is one of them and here is his story.

As unemployment soars in Egypt, children often end up working to support their families. On the busy streets of Cairo it's evident how.

Many of those children use some of their earnings to get any kind of education they can.

About 24 million people — nearly a third of the country's 90-million population — live below the poverty line, according to official figures.
