Knife crime in Britain has risen dramatically. A series of serious knife attacks, including the recent stabbing of a teenager in London, has prompted renewed concern over the issue.

Now the government is taking aim at knife violence with a new police and crime plan, that aims to reduce stabbings with greater enforcement against selling, buying and carrying knives.
