Gokhan Ereli is a PhD Candidate in International Relations at Middle East Technical University (METU). He is also the Gulf Studies Coordinator at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM). He has published articles or appeared in BBC World Service, VOA News, Al Jazeera, Anadolu Agency, China Daily, Sputnik, South China Morning Post, TRT Arabi, and TRT Kurdi.
