Aida Abbashar is a Sudanese-American based between London and Nairobi. She has recently completed her studies in History and International Relations, with a focus on African studies, marginality and exclusion, and Sudanese political history. Her current research focuses on analysing the distinctiveness of Sudanese political resistance, as personified during the Qiyada sit-in.
