Almost 99 percent of the critically endangered species has been wiped out due to deforestation and climate change.

In the south of Brazil, hundreds of thousands of people are braving near-freezing temperatures to celebrate one of the region's most important annual events - the Pinhao festival which celebrates the South American country's pine nut.
This comes as the Araucaria trees - where the nuts are grown - are being torn down by deforestation.
